Sidedoor Bagel

Great place to stop while driving through for breakfast. I made this my breakfast stop. The only negative I have is that there wasn't a public restroom as I stopped here on my way to Springfield, IL from Ohio. But the food was spot on. I got the Tuesday special Cheesy Hash brown Bagel with lox and dill. For the price, this was a good deal. A perfect breakfast to help me continue the drive and I didn't have to wear off 70 too much. A few back roads but it kept me going west so I was cool with it. Street parking right in front with quick service. I also got to watch the social media/ maybe owner taking pictures of one his bagel sandwiches out front front for that day's Insta post which was mildly entertaining. If I lived in the area, I would go but I wish they had a few seats to sit and eat.

Myself and 4 friends arrived late morning on a cold and snowy Sunday. Though there was a very lengthy line when we arrived, it moved quickly and orderly. The male staff member who was working the register was friendly, calm, informative, patient and firm, as were the staff working the pick up counter (especially with pick up orders who had arrived long before their designated pick up times). This eatery is clearly a well oiled machine with staff that are skilled at what they do and seem to be happy to be there. I enjoyed a veggie on everything bagel with the chili crisp schmear and one of their flavored lattes. That chili crisp schmear should be a staple as it is a revelation!! My friends and I sat in our car before heading back home in near complete silence save for the cave man grunts of satisfaction from the lot of us. Thank you to the terrific staff for starting our day off right before our long trip back home, we will see you again!

I tried the BLT today, it did not disappoint!! The cream cheese on it was different but not bad at all. Will definitely be going back… probably in the morning

I just wasn't particularly a fan of the style bagel. The quality of food was good the price was a bit steep as it was $10 for a cold brew and a bagel with some cream cheese.

They had many bagel and schmear options and the lox bagel was really good! the flavor and texture of the bagel is so good. I got the spicy everything bagel which was super unique.

What you see is what you get, tasty bagels in a small corner shop with a couple benches out front and bike parking. No faults on food quality and service. Worth checking out or getting a quick emergency lunch downtown.

Tried Sidedoor Bagels today! It was probably the best bagel I’ve ever had. I got the Beccy and the other two got the BLT. They said there’s was delicious too. They don’t lack on anything. They give generous amounts of “schmear” on each bagel, bacon, egg, tomatoes, and greens. It was my first time there, and while the man running the register didn’t really help navigate it was simple enough. Customer service was good. Especially if you don’t like to talk.

Sidedoor is the best! The creative menu and unique bagel flavors are so good and keep me coming back. The recent black pepper and salt and vinegar bagels are perfect with any Sando. Rosemary Sea Salt is a sleeper!
